Event: Consultation on Mayor of London's transport strategy - Tues 19th September

Via Connect Hackney:connect hackney

Connect Hackney is hosting a joint focus group with our friends at Ageing Better Camden, to discuss the Mayor of London's transport strategy from the point of view of older people.

We want to look at how we can make public transport easier to use for older people and how London’s streets can be made safer and more accessible environments.

We are looking for eight local older people who would like to take part in the focus group discussion. Could this be you? A member of the Transport for London stakeholder engagement team will be there to hear your views.

Lunch will be provided for all those taking part.

Time and date: 10am to 12.45pm, Tuesday 19 September

Venue: "Lift", 45 White Lion Street, London N1 9PW

If you would like to take part, please phone Kim-Lien Ong, the Connect Hackney programme administrator, on 020 7923 8360 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

The debate will be introduced by a range of expert speakers from key organisations.

We are holding this event as part of a project funded by Hyde Foundation to explore older people's views on housing.
